Last week, on 18 January, SAFE STRIP partners meet the project officer for the mid term project review. The review was also an opportunity for SAFE STRIP partners CERTH and CTI to demonstrate the SAFE STRIP road unit in action. Have a look at the pictures below to get a glimpse of the demo.
Skateboard plays the role of the vehicle. It passes over the strip and its speed, direction and type (two-wheel vehicle) is detected.
The strip continuously measures the ambient temperature. The strip detects the temperature drop due to the cold water placement over the strip.
